We decided to let one of batam hens hatch her clutch. She has 11 eggs, she sat on her eggs all day today so we figured she was starting the process and now she is roosting and not sitting on her eggs is this normal?
Well I dont know if it is cold in your part of the world but as a rule they need to have all their feathers before you can put them out in a coop. That takes 4 or 5 weeks. However you should not put them in a coop with older birds until they are full grown. Hens will often stop setting. They just give up some times. She will start again.
my father in law is thinking about starting a poultry sale along with small animals. i.e, guinea pigs, hamsters, etc. my question is, how do you determine how much the animal cost? help would be greatly appreciated. thanks
